Wilderness skills

In this activity we offer the opportunity to gain skills that will enable you to survive in a wildness setting. Learn the 5 principles of wilderness survival in this action packed activity.

  • Light fires

  • Build shelters

  • Filter water

  • Perform basic first aid

  • Signal for help

In our active sessions you’ll have the chance to hone these skills in a fun and engaging way.

To keep things safe we do things on a small scale. We won’t be building large fires, but we will learn and practice starting one. Shelters can be simple lean to’s or can involve using tarps to set something up. The focus will be on the basics with equipment you’d usually have to hand in the outdoors.
