Fencing activity hire
Our experienced fencing instructors will guide all participants through the basic techniques of stance, movement and attack before letting them put it into practice through duels. The equipment we use has been designed by British Fencing and offers the fencing experience without the faff and bulky equipment required to use metal foils safely. We have a mix of equipment suitable for a wide range of ages.
In schools we can run a progressive structured session for up to 30 participants at a time. For events and uniform groups we can be flexible and offer drop in sessions or mini taster sessions.

Activity requirements and dimensions:
Activity dimensions: Flexible
Minimum space required: Flexible - but ideally around 8 x 10m. More space will mean more people can duel at any one time.
Indoors*
Clothing: Long sleeves, Long hair tied back.
*We can often run fencing outdoors but the weather needs to be perfect so we recommend only booking if a suitable indoor space is available
Accessibility
This activity can be adapted for most people. Participants must be able to fencing mask to take part in duels.

As part of a drop-in type day we recommend having time slots as it can be tricky to bring people in at different stages during the activity if it’s busy.. We can put up signage letting people know when sessions will begin.
Our instructors are adaptable to the needs of the group and sessions can include progressive elements, fun duels, competitions, tournaments and games.
